Sized for where you post
Status, Feed, Square, Wide or the original shape. Crop to what matters, or Fit the whole picture with a soft blurred fill.

You don't need a screen recorder or an editing app.
Vclip helps you pin the moment and save it in the size you need.
Hands-on time per clip. Vclip records while the clip plays, so a 5-second clip is ready 5 seconds later.
How it works
Point at a video on almost any site and a Clip button appears in its corner. Click it, or press Alt+I while you watch.
Drag the two handles to where it starts and ends. The video follows, so you land on the exact frame.
Choose Status, Feed, Square, Wide or Original. Vclip saves just that part as an MP4, in My Clips and your Downloads.
What you get
Status, Feed, Square, Wide or the original shape. Crop to what matters, or Fit the whole picture with a soft blurred fill.
Click Screenshot for the exact frame, at full quality. It's copied and kept in My Clips, ready to paste into a chat, a doc or an email.
Clips and screenshots live together in My Clips. Search, rename, download again, or jump back to that moment in the video.
If it plays in your browser, Vclip can usually clip it. Paid streaming like Netflix blocks recording, and Vclip tells you when that happens.
Alt+I where it starts, Alt+O where it ends, Alt+S to save. No pausing, no menus.
Watching at 1.5x or 2x? Vclip records your clip at normal speed, so it plays back right, then puts your speed back.
Privacy
Vclip makes each clip right in your browser and keeps it on your computer, in My Clips and your Downloads. Your clips belong to you.
